How to use external DVD Drive with Laptop that doesn't have an internal DVD Drive

Some USB DVD drives have 2 USB cords and require 2 USB Ports. One for connection and one for power. If possible we recommend getting a DVD drive that uses a regular power outlet or only 1 USB Port so that the USB Port can remain open for other devices.
Note:
Bluray DVDs will NOT work with the Advanced Media Player.

How to start a movie if you are using an External DVD Drive:
  1. Select Advanced Media Player from the Feedback menu
  2. Click On No Effect
  3. At the top of the Cygnet, Media player Click Play DVD
  4. On the Open Media window, look at where it says Disc device if it says the name of the movie that is in the external DVD drive then Click Play.

*If it does not say the name of the movie that you have in the DVD Drive, Click on the drop-down menu and select the DVD drive that has the movie and then click Play at the bottom of the Open Media window.
